“It is a good course for professionals seeking to understand general and high level inclusions of Performance Management”, said Mr. Omar Sabbahi, assistant manager.

The course provides a strong foundation towards improving performance in different scenarios by presenting a sound architecture containing relevant tools, processes, and techniques. This training course presents 6 pillars that need to be applied to ensure performance management – starting from data analysis and reporting, spanning decision making and initiative management, to learning and building a performance culture.

The 6 pillars are then implemented in 9 different scenarios that vary from organizational context (e.g. company, departmental, and employee level) and relationship with stakeholders (e.g. Joint Ventures, suppliers, and personal level), to operations (e.g. process, project, and quality management).

The training course was attended by professionals from United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. They featured strong backgrounds and areas of expertise in consulting.

To enable both the theoretical understanding and practical experience of using Performance Management tools and techniques, we integrated group discussions, exercises, simulations and case studies.

Participants were actively engaged in the collaborative learning environment, readily sharing opinions and experiences.

On the one hand, we have the concepts of continuous improvement- development and change in particular- which lie at the heart of Performance Management and drive processes, projects, people, teams and organizations forward, shedding light on the weaker links of the chain and helping strengthen them.

On the other hand, Performance Management as a whole is also in need of improvement. Some means of achieving this are through professional communities, scientific research, and publications.

The July issue plunges into the topics of Benchmarking, Individual Performance and Customer Experience (specifically, how to build relationships and generate loyalty).

Flip through pages of refreshing content – interviews with renowned experts, extensive research studies, concept presentations, insights from practice, software and hardware reviews, plus books and movie recommendations – all related to Performance Management.
