We are pleased to announce that the LinkedIn group PERFORMANCE: Measurement, Management, KPI, Balanced Scorecard, Business Intelligence, Analytics has surpassed the 12.000 members milestone.

With roughly 200 new members joining each week, the group has grown rapidly and has succeeded in gathering practitioners from around the world and engaging them in performance related discussions. In under 2 months, the community has gained over 2000 new members.

March 12, 2014, Melbourne, Australia – The KPI Institute, the global authority on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) research and education announces the launch of a new report, KPIs for Restaurant Scorecard. The publication is based on research conducted through www.smartKPIs.com, which contains over 20,000 Key Performance Indicator examples, making it the world’s largest source of thoroughly documented KPIs.

Restaurant activities include the provision of complete meals or drinks fit for immediate consumption, in traditional restaurants, self-service or take-away restaurants, whether as permanent or temporary stands, with or without seating. The Certified KPI Professional & Practitioner Training Courses in Dubai were part of a series of certification courses dedicated to rigorous usage of KPIs in practice. These courses will be organized in 2014 at global level in 42 cities from 5 continents, by The KPI Institute. 

Coordinated by Adrian Brudan, Director of Research of The KPI Institute, these courses were held at Kempinski Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, between the 23rd and the 27th of February 2014.

Andreea Trîmbițaș, Business Research Analyst at The KPI Institute, delivered on the 24th of February 2014, a two-hour workshop, as part of the 11th HR Metrics Summit 2014, which took place in Orlando, Florida.

As data-based decision making is at the core of better management practices today, tools such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Scorecards, Dashboards, and Portfolio of Initiatives assist with the provision of critical business data for decision making. The workshop explored the interdependencies between performance management tools and the way they can be deployed in practice.
