HR Performance Forum Overview – Day 2

On March 17th The KPI Institute along with our Platinum Sponsor KPISOFT is wrapping up the HR Performance Forum and the second conference day dedicated to engaging participants in three expository and insightful parallel workshops, beneficial to understanding the practical application of the information acquired in day 1. Both participants and speakers had the chance to interact through networking sessions, exchange ideas and discover new business opportunities.

101

The HR Performance Forum workshops approached a variety of subjects regarding employee performance and they were thoroughly exposed by The KPI Institute experts:

  • Aurel Brudan, Chief Executive Officer, The KPI Institute, Australia
  • Teodora Gorksi, Managing Director MENA, The KPI Institute, UAE
  • Mihai Toma, Head of Professional Services MENA, The KPI Institute, UAE

Workshop A

“New directions in employee performance appraisals” presented by Mr. Aurel Brudan, gave the participants the chance to acknowledge the best practices of implementing and conducting an effective performance appraisal process. Extending over the timespan of one day, this track touched upon subjects like the latest trends in performance appraisals, sustainable talent development, improving employee performance measurement or driving employee performance through actively involving management.

Workshop B

Creating an effective and meaningful reward system for employees requires best practices, beneficial to engaging individuals in their work. Therefore, we dedicated an entire workshop facilitated by Mrs. Teodora Gorski, to approaching the subject of “Linking performance to rewards”. Participants were expected to gain a sharper understanding of how performance appraisals should be integrated in the organizational performance management system, of how to develop an objective individual plan by integrating KPIs and how overcoming common issues can improve their rewards system.

Workshop C

Our third workshop, facilitated by Mr. Mihai Toma was developed to offer participants a hands-on approach, bridge the gap between good strategy planning and faulty execution and introduce essential performance culture elements. “Enabling strategy implementation through operating a performance oriented culture” allowed professionals to explore an efficient performance culture model and its role in enabling strategy implementation, practice the use of key performance tools used to enable strategy planning and measurement, along with learning to manage strategic changes and get valuable insights on how to foster strategy implementation through innovation, leadership and customer orientation.
