Certified KPI Professional & Practitioner Training Course in Brunei

The Certified KPI Professional & Practitioner Training Courses held in Brunei between the 27th of July and 1st of August 2015 were successfully completed by 25 participants, members of the Institut Perkhidmatan Awam!

“The course content was very detailed and all the topics delivered during this course were related to my area of work. In addition, the case studies’ exercises have given me confidence as well the basic knowledge for developing and implementing KPIs, and also dentifying the correct ones, the stages involved in developing them, etc.” explained Mohammad Bin Tusin – Senior Management Services Officer.

The Certified KPI Professional & Practitioner training course was organised by Civil Service Institute and presented by Aurel Brudan- CEO of The KPI Institute.

All participants successfully completed a certification test for obtaining the Certified KPI Professional and Practitioner status. The certification recognizes the professionals’ ability to deploy and use KPIs in accordance with The KPI Institute’s Key Performance Indicators Management Framework, the main body of knowledge on the rigorous use of KPIs in business.

The participants have gained experience in the real business applicability of theoretical concepts regarding KPIs and are now able to improve their performance at the working place by practicing a sound framework for KPI measurement, as well as to obtain better business results by selecting the right KPIs.

In addition, all learning objectives were met and attendants can now:

  • Understand KPI measurement challenges and how to address them;
  • Differentiate between objectives, KPIs and initiatives;
  • Understand KPI selection in different contexts;
  • Select KPIs for scorecards and dashboards from the organizational to the departmental and individual level;
  • Develop a KPI implementation project plan;
  • Optimize the KPI activation and data gathering process.

The Boreneo Bulletin referred to The KPI Professional and Practitioner training course as the certification program that “aims to strengthen the government officials to support leaders of the organisation in achieving organisational goals and the Brunei Vision 2035. This certified training program is one of the initiatives implemented by Civil Service Institute to achieve Excellence in Human Capital Development in the public sector.”
