Overview of The KPI Institute`s participation at the first day of CERTX Conference
Between 16th and the 18th of May 2017 in Riyadh, The KPI Institute became actively involved in the 1st Professional Certification Conference organized by CERTX under the theme “Professional Certification: The Driving Force Behind a Knowledge-Based Economy “.
The first day of the conference was inaugurated with an introductory and welcoming session hosted by Khalid Al Hafta, Chairman, Organising Committee, CERTX.
A variety of keynote presentations were facilitated by forward thinking experts, following the conference’s introductory statements, as well as a series of engaging panel discussions about the latest developments in the professional certification industry.
Our representative: Mihai Toma, Head of Professional Practice MENA, was involved in a panel discussion about the “Needs and challenges in the development of professional certification Exams” along three other professionals in the field.
This panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Fahad Al Twaijry, Technology and Management Consultant and it revealed the latest studies on how companies use informal, improvised mechanisms and processes in the exam development process. Te presenters also shared useful insights to HR managers and other leaders in how to carefully choose the right professional certification program.
Throughout the day all the participants had the possibility to interact with our representative team and to consult the latest magazines, reports and publications at The KPI Institute`s booth.
The first day conference ended with the chairman`s remarks and an open networking session.
