Running for life and education with The KPI Institute
The KPI Institute’s participation at the Semi Marathon, held on May 31st, was a success, as the three teams occupied places in the first half of the final ranking.
Out of 21 teams that participated in the 4X5km relay race, The KPI Institute’s “The WildLings” occupied the 6th position, “PRO EDU” – the 7th position, while “SaveLifeRunners” arrived 9th.
In spite of the bad weather, the KPI Institute’s runners did not get intimidated, and ran for their projects. From slippery cobblestone in the old city center to off-road racing, the runners continued the marathon and managed to finish in due time.
The money raised went to the local Emergency Division, as well as to the “Ready for Tomorrow” project, each of them with ambitious goals: saving lives and improving teenagers’ educational level.
The most important learning point is that striving for one’s goals is never hard when passion and devotion come together! Continue to believe in your dreams!
