Facilitator’s profile

Paul Şerban Agachi is Professor of Process Control at the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University Babes-Bolyai (UBB), Cluj Napoca, Romania and Professor of Process Engineering at Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) as of 2015. He has been involved in academic management at UBB since 1996, and occupied various positions such as Chancellor, Research & University Development Vice-Rector and President of the University. At country level, he works at the National Council of Academic Titles, Diplomas and University Certificates, Romania, has been member of the Council of the Romanian Agency of Quality Assurance and was involved in several country strategic projects. Professor Agachi is member of the Executive Committee of the International Ranking Expert Group, an organization based in Brussels and concerned with world and national academic rankings for excellence.
