The KPI Institute, the global authority on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) research and education, is proud to announce its 10-year anniversary.

The KPI Institute Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

Established in May 2004, in Australia, The KPI Institute is a an innovator in the field of integrating performance across organizational, departmental, individual and personal level.  Some of the milestones of the last decade are:

2009: launch of www.smartKPIs.com, the most comprehensive repository of Key Performance Indicators available online

2010: initiation of a series of research programs, dedicated to strategy, performance and balanced scorecard

2011: release of the first in a series of over 100 research publication dedicated to the thorough analysis of KPIs, in accordance with The KPI Institute’s documentation standards;

2012: launch of the Certified KPI Professional and Certified KPI Practitioner, programs, dedicated to acknowledging expertise in managing with KPIs

2013:  release of “Performance Management in 2012”, the first from a series of annual reports providing an overview of the state of the discipline.

2014: the launch of PERFORMANCE Magazine, an online source of strategy, performance, KPIs and Balanced Scorecard news, interviews and editorial articles.

Some of the metrics that characterize our journey in numbers are:

  • 20 countries on 5 continents in which training courses were delivered;
  • 150+ KPI Dashboards and Balanced Scorecards developed;
  • 1,500+ participants from 41 countries trained on how to work rigorously with KPIs.
  • 8,000+ KPIs documented from 15 functional areas and 24 industries;
  • 28,000+ organizations assisted in finding solutions to their KPI needs.
