TKI Conference Presentation: KPIs, Scorecard and Dashboard for HR
Cristina Tărâță, Research Coordinator at The KPI Institute, delivered on the 21st of May 2014, a 45 minutes presentation as part of the 15th HR Shared Services & Outsourcing Summit 2014, which took place in Chicago, Illinois.
Optimizing an HR shared service implies making use of the large volume of data available in the best ways possible to support decision making. By implementing a performance management framework, tools such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Scorecards, Dashboards and Portfolio of Initiatives will boost the value provided by a shared service center. The KPI Institute’s presentation explored the interdependencies between performance management tools and the way they can be deployed in practice.

- Challenges in performance measurement
Around 80 HR professionals from organizations operating in various industries attended this presentation focused on establishing a standardized terminology and usage of KPIs, scorecards, dashboards and initiatives when shaping the performance management architecture. Another highlight of the presentation was the importance of linking KPIs with strategy.
